The Red Vineyards near Arles is an oil painting by the Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh, executed on a privately primed Toile de 30 pieces of burlap in early November 1888. It depicts workers in a vineyard.
Van Gogh's inspiration was the people living at the end of the 19th century who had to work long days. The workers in this painting are still doing manual labor during sunset at the end of the day. Van Gogh also liked the field workers as they were in sync with nature.
JWS inspiration came from Van Gogh’s painting, it was the first painting known by the name which was sold during his lifetime. This printed shirt is crafted for modern men with an eye for detail.
